Snowbirds & Spring Training
Snowbird – defined by merriam-webster.com as the following: “one who travels to warm climates for the winter”. Florida is the preferred destination for these snow birds, starting in November each year Tampa is flooded with Snow Birds to bask in the warm 70 to 80 degree sunny days. Another big attraction in the winter in Florida is Spring Training for MLB Baseball. Florida has the Grapefruit League and Tampa is home to the Yankees Spring Training Headquarters – among others. Yankee fans flock from around the country to see what is considered AMERICA’S TEAM. If you are planning to come down for spring training and attend some games to cheer on your team, Leading Apartments can provide complete furnished Apartments/Condos that are as close as 4 miles from your favorite team’s field. During this time hotels and lodging are hard to find, so get an early start and let Leading Apartments take care of your accommodation plans.
